Social media applications such as blogs, wikis, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are being used more and more to enrich the learning and teaching experience.
To encourage the effective use of social media, a set of good practice guidelines for staff have been developed by GCU LEAD to highlight aspects for consideration when using social media in a learning and teaching context. You can download the guidelines here.
A set of guides for using social media for learning has also been developed in conjunction with the Students Association. Feel free to share these links with your students. You can also embed the guides directly into your modules.
